Ammonia
Added by Dr. Martin Armitage on Dec 15, 2008
This activity demonstrates the preparation and properties of ammonia and highlights its use in making ammonium nitrate, an important fertiliser. Ammonia is made by combining calcium oxide and ammonium chloride in a heat simulation and students then find out how much ammonia is made through word and chemical formula equations.
